Ruchita Aggarwal is India Head, New Business Sales at Google India Pvt Ltd where she alongwith her team of senior Business Development Managers is responsible for introducing Google Digital Marketing Solutions to corporates for them to achieve desired business and growth objectives. The New Business Sales team comprises of digital marketing solution experts who have helped multiple corporates, institutions and bodies across industries to expand their marketing strategy and leverage digital solutions for brand and performance marketing.
Before joining Google, Ruchita was heading Business Development and Strategy at Clix Capital Services Pvt Ltd., where she was responsible for conceptualizing and executing strategic ideas that focus on accentuating growth at the group through inorganic transactions including M&A, JVs and strategic alliances. At Clix, Ruchita led the corporate strategy team to structure & execute a complex, game-changing slump-sale deal with India’s largest consumer digital company to hyper-scale growth, customer acquisition and build alternate distribution channel at Clix. The team also concluded a few buy-out transactions in consumer and SME lending space, stitched up a Joint venture with Europe’s largest consumer digital lending firm and inked some strategic partnerships for the group.
Prior to joining Clix she was the Chief Operating Officer at Paytm Payments Bank. As head of Banking Operations she was responsible for setting-up centralized and branch bank operations for the Payments Bank as well as establishing Operations risk assurance, Customer relationship management, Process improvement and automation, Partner activation and engagement. In addition to her role as head of banking operations, she also led Corporate and Government Alliances at One97 Communications (parent company of Paytm).
Prior to joining Paytm she spent 14 years at Citibank India and Singapore. She was Director of Treasury and Trade solutions and Singapore head for regional product sales. While at Citibank India she was recognized as Best Woman Sales Director at the first-ever India Women in Sales Awards, 2015 (Global awards run by Zars Media across industries).
Ruchita is a Certified International Cash Management (Cert-ICM) professional and has a certificate in Leadership Development from UCLA. She is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from SP Jain Institute of Management – Mumbai and holds a Bachelor in Economics with honors from Shri Ram College of Commerce Delhi.
Ruchita is passionate about diversity and as founding member of Citi’s India Diversity Council was instrumental in introducing initiatives across policy, infrastructure and soft-skill development for women at Citi. She is a regular mentor at forums like ReBalance, Lean In, Back to the front, JobsforHer and Women’s Web. She is also involved with charitable and development initiatives in fields of under-privileged children, old age and women.
Ruchita is mother to two beautiful children Saksham (13 years) and Saranya (7 years). She loves to read, travel and seek happy times with friends and family.
